Mobile is known for its abundance of beautifully restored and maintained historic homes located within eight historical districts. The Mobile Historical Development Commission works diligently to protect this inheritance of architectural treasures.
Roberts Brothers established their Historic Homes Division in order to recognize and support the transfer of ownership for these significant properties. Marketing services are provided to listed homes that are located in a historic district or that are at least 75 years old. Special signage and advertising is offered to these properties. Agents are educated in historic preservation as well. Roberts Brothers, Inc. makes financial contributions to the Mobile Historical Development Commission to support its efforts.
